Authorities said one person was hospitalized after a minivan crashed approximately 20 feet into an Advocate Medical Group facility Tuesday morning on Waukegan Road in Glenview.
Glenview, IL.- One person was injured after a minivan crashed into a medical facility Tuesday morning in Glenview.
The accident occurred on September 8 in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road at an Advocate Medical Group outpatient facility.
Authorities said the minivan crashed through a window and traveled approximately 20 feet into the building.
Several people were inside the facility at the time, including people in the waiting area.
One person inside the medical facility suffered injuries that may have been caused by flying debris.
The injured person was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
Two people who were inside the minivan and another person inside the building were evaluated following the accident but did not require hospital treatment.
Authorities said the collision did not cause structural damage to the building.
However, the window where the minivan entered and portions of the interior walls will need to be replaced.
Additional information about what caused the minivan to crash into the medical facility has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
