2 Young Pedestrians Hurt in Accident on Mountains Edge Parkway in Las Vegas

Police said two young pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon on Mountains Edge Parkway in southwest Las Vegas.

Las Vegas, NV.- Two young pedestrians were injured following an accident involving a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in southwest Las Vegas.

The accident occurred around 1:53 p.m. on September 1 in the 7900 block of Mountains Edge Parkway near Mountain’s Edge Regional Park.

Emergency crews responded to the area after receiving reports that a vehicle had struck two pedestrians.

Both pedestrians suffered injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities said their injuries were considered non life threatening.

The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Police said impairment was not suspected at the time of the initial investigation.

Authorities have not released the identities or ages of the two injured pedestrians.
