Police said a 16 year old bicyclist suffered substantial injuries after being struck by a car Wednesday evening near 112th Street SE and Silver Lake Road in Everett.
Everett, WA.- A 16 year old bicyclist was seriously injured following an accident involving a vehicle Wednesday evening in Everett.
The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on August 26 near the intersection of 112th Street SE and Silver Lake Road.
Emergency crews responded to the area after receiving reports that a teenage bicyclist had been struck by a car.
Authorities said the 16 year old was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
The teen suffered injuries described as substantial following the accident.
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the bicyclist was struck.
Authorities have not released the teenager’s identity or additional information regarding the rider’s condition.
