3 Students Killed in Fiery Car Accident on Interstate 95 in Brevard County

Authorities said three students from Telangana, India, were killed after their vehicle left Interstate 95, struck a tree, and caught fire in Brevard County.

Brevard County, FL.- Three students were killed following a single vehicle accident on Interstate 95 in the Palm Bay area of Brevard County.

According to reports citing the Florida Highway Patrol, the students were traveling in a 2025 Hyundai Elantra when the vehicle veered off the interstate.

The Hyundai left the roadway and struck a tree before catching fire.

Two of the occupants suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third occupant was transported to a local hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.

The third victim was identified as N. Rahul of Navipet in the Nizamabad district of Telangana, India.

Authorities had not released the identities of the other two students at the time of the initial report.

The Telugu Association of North America was reportedly coordinating with U.S. authorities regarding necessary formalities and the repatriation of the victims’ bodies.

Additional information about what caused the Hyundai to leave the roadway has not been released.

The accident remains under investigation.
