Miami-Dade, FL.- At least one person was injured following a multi vehicle accident Tuesday in Miami-Dade, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on August 18 on the westbound Gratigny Parkway.
Troopers responded to the scene following reports of a collision involving multiple vehicles.
The accident caused all westbound lanes of the Gratigny Parkway to close while emergency crews responded to the scene.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the driver of one of the vehicles became trapped following the collision.
Firefighters worked to extricate the trapped driver from the vehicle.
Fire rescue officials said one patient was prepared for transport to the main trauma center for treatment.
