Authorities said three people were injured following a two vehicle accident early Saturday morning on State Highway 39 near American Falls.
American Falls, ID.- Three people were injured following a two vehicle accident Saturday morning near American Falls.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:32 a.m. on August 15 on State Highway 39.
According to the initial report, a 2014 Buick Verano moved into the southbound lane and sideswiped a 2017 Ford F-150.
The Buick was driven by a 53 year old Boise woman. Two passengers were also traveling in the Buick, including a 32 year old woman and a 12 year old, both from Boise.
The driver of the Buick suffered injuries in the collision and was transported by air ambulance for medical treatment.
Both passengers in the Buick were transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance for treatment.
The Ford was driven by an 18 year old from Aberdeen and also carried an 18 year old passenger from Aberdeen.
Neither person in the Ford was transported to a hospital following the accident.
Additional information regarding the conditions of the three injured people has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation as authorities continue reviewing the collision.
