Authorities said one person was killed and two others were injured following a head on accident Wednesday evening on State Route 79 between Florence and Catalina in Pinal County.
Florence, AZ.- One person was killed and two others were injured following a head on accident Wednesday evening in Pinal County, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. on August 12 on State Route 79 near milepost 103 between Florence and Catalina.
Authorities said one vehicle crossed the median before colliding head on with another vehicle.
One person was killed as a result of the collision.
Two other people suffered injuries in the accident and were transported for medical treatment.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved or additional information regarding the conditions of the two injured people.
Additional information about what caused the vehicle to cross the median has not been released.
