Authorities said one person was injured after a car crashed completely through a home Sunday night on Beverly Drive in Lebanon.
Lebanon, IN.- One person was injured after a vehicle crashed through a home Sunday night in Lebanon.
The accident occurred around 9:28 p.m. on August 9 in the 900 block of Beverly Drive near Elm Swamp Road and Anderson Lane.
Emergency crews responded after receiving reports of a structure collapse and found that a car had traveled completely through the residence.
Authorities located the vehicle and its driver in a vacant lot next to the home after the car became stuck on a dirt mound.
Two people and two dogs were inside the residence at the time of the accident.
One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
One of the dogs was also injured and transported to an emergency veterinary clinic for lifesaving treatment.
Additional information about the driver and the circumstances leading up to the accident has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
