Teen Bicyclist Hurt in Accident at Crosstown Parkway and Southwest Cameo Boulevard in Port St. Lucie

Police said a 16 year old bicyclist suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle Monday at Crosstown Parkway and Southwest Cameo Boulevard in Port St. Lucie.

Port St. Lucie, FL.- A teenage bicyclist was injured following an accident Monday in Port St. Lucie.

The accident occurred on August 10 at the intersection of Crosstown Parkway and Southwest Cameo Boulevard.

Port St. Lucie police said the 16 year old student was struck by a vehicle and sustained superficial injuries.

The teenager declined medical transport following the collision.

Additional information about the vehicle involved and the circumstances leading up to the accident has not been released.

Police said their findings are preliminary.

The accident remains under investigation.
