Authorities said one person suffered critical injuries following a reported explosion Monday morning at the Suncoast Paving property in Tarpon Springs.
Tarpon Springs, FL.- One person was critically injured following an explosion and reported mechanical accident Monday morning in Tarpon Springs.
The accident occurred around 7:40 a.m. on August 10 at 800 Anclote Road.
Emergency crews responded to the Suncoast Paving property after receiving reports of an explosion.
Responders arrived approximately five minutes later and found one person critically injured in what authorities described as a mechanical accident.
Additional emergency units responded to assist at the scene.
The injured person was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released the identity of the injured person or additional information regarding their condition.
