Authorities said a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following an accident involving an SUV Saturday afternoon on Sparks Boulevard in Sparks.
Sparks, NV.- A motorcyclist was seriously injured following an accident Saturday afternoon in Sparks.
The accident occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. on August 1 on Sparks Boulevard north of Disc Drive.
Investigators said the motorcycle was traveling northbound when an SUV attempted to make a left turn into a business complex.
Authorities said the motorcycle struck the passenger side of the SUV, throwing the rider from the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the SUV was not injured, remained at the scene, and is cooperating with investigators.
The accident remains under investigation.
