Troopers said a 57 year old Orlando man riding a bicycle was killed after colliding with a Tesla Model 3 Wednesday afternoon in Orange County.
Orlando, FL.- A bicyclist was killed following an accident Wednesday afternoon in Orlando, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred around 1:21 p.m. on July 22 at the intersection of State Road 50, also known as East Colonial Drive, and Woodbury Road.
Troopers said the 57 year old Orlando man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Tesla Model 3, an adult woman whose identity has not been released, was transported to AdventHealth East Orlando with minor injuries.
Eastbound lanes of East Colonial Drive were closed while investigators processed the scene before reopening.
The accident remains under investigation.
