Authorities said one person was killed following an accident involving a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle Wednesday night on Route 1 in Clark County.
Clark County, IL.- One person was killed following a truck accident Wednesday night in Clark County.
The accident occurred on July 15 on Route 1 north of Marshall near the Clark and Edgar county line.
Authorities said the collision involved a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed one person died in the accident.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
Route 1 remained closed until approximately 3 a.m. while investigators examined the scene and crews removed the damaged vehicles.
The accident remains under investigation.
