Rider Killed in Motorcycle Accident on U.S. Highway 192 near Vacanza Boulevard on Osceola County

Troopers said a 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was heading eastbound in the inside lane of the U.S. Highway 192. A 2025 Mazda CX-50 was also heading eastbound in the same lane.

Osceola County, FL.- A rider was killed after a motorcycle accident on Friday evening in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on July 3 in the U.S. Highway 192 near Vacanza Boulevard.

Troopers said a 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was heading eastbound in the inside lane of the U.S. Highway 192. A 2025 Mazda CX-50 was also heading eastbound in the same lane.

The 45-year-old rider did not see the Mazda slowing or traveling ahead and it crashed into the vehicle’s rear right corner.

The motorcyclist was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center where the 45-year-old man from Kissimmee was later declared dead.

The Mazda occupants were not hurt in the crash.

An investigation is ongoing.
