2 Killed in Motorcycle Accident on I-110 near Mile Marker 1 in Escambia County

Troopers said a motorcycle operated by a 43-year-old Navarre man went off the roadway into the inside shoulder and crashed into a concrete traffic barrier.

Escambia County, FL.- Two Navarre residents were killed after a motorcycle accident on Thursday night in Escambia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on I-110 North near mile marker 1 on July 2. 

Troopers said a motorcycle operated by a 43-year-old Navarre man went off the roadway into the inside shoulder and crashed into a concrete traffic barrier.

The man and his passenger, a 45-year-old Navarre woman, were ejected from the motorbike after the crash. They fell over the overpass and were declared dead at the scene.

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.

The incident remains under investigation.
