Tazawell County, IL. – A driver was hospitalized after a traffic collision on Friday afternoon in Tazawell County, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred a while before 4:10 p.m. on July 3 on Interstate 74.
Police said a vehicle went off the roadway and hit a concrete barrier for reasons still under investigation.
The driver was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Troopers reopened eastbound lanes of Interstate 74 at Morton at about 5:05 p.m.
