Deputies said a sedan was heading north on 700 East Road when it struck the railing head-on in unclear circumstances.

Gridley, IL.- Three people were killed after a single-vehicle accident on Thursday morning in rural Gridley, Livingston County, according to the Livingston County Coroner’s Office.
The accident occurred at about 11:15 a.m. on July 2, on 700 East Road.
Deputies said a sedan was heading north on 700 East Road when it struck the railing head-on in unclear circumstances.
The driver, a 22-year-old man, and his passengers, a 21-year-old woman and an infant in the backseat were killed in the collision.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
An autopsy was scheduled for later Friday.
An investigation is underway.
