Troopers confirmed the male rider was heading east near Kingfisher Drive in a black Honda motorcycle when he went off the roadway for unknown reasons and slammed into the shoulder of the road.

Klamath County, OR.- A 74-year-old rider was killed after a traffic collision on Tuesday afternoon in Portland, according to the Oregon State Police.
The accident happened a while after 4:15 p.m. on June 30, on Highway 140 near milepost 30.

The man was declared dead at the scene.
