Troopers said a Dodge Ram pickup hauling a Toyota pickup pulled into the eastbound lanes from the side of the road. The pickup driver did not notice the white sedan approaching from behind and the vehicle crashed into the back of the trailer.
Benton City, WA. – Two people were injured after a traffic collision on Tuesday morning near Benton City, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident happened at around 9:40 a.m. on June 30, on Interstate 82 between West Richland and Benton City.
Troopers said a Dodge Ram pickup hauling a Toyota pickup pulled into the eastbound lanes from the side of the road. The pickup driver did not notice the white sedan approaching from behind and the vehicle crashed into the back of the trailer.
A woman and a child in the sedan were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic delays were experienced in the area at the time.
