Orland Park, IL. – One person was killed and several others were hurt after a multi-vehicle accident on Monday morning in Orland Park, according to the Orland Park Fire District.
The collision occurred a while before 11:00 a.m. on June 29, near 149th Street and LaGrange Road.
Fire officials said four vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. Three of these vehicles were significantly damaged.
One person was declared dead at the crash site.
Three people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate degree. The three were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
LaGrange Road was closed for several hours as officials investigated the collision. Drivers were asked to find alternate roads.
No other details regarding this crash were provided.
