Troopers said a Subaru SUV tried to pass a car while travelling southbound and entered the path of a northbound Chrysler minivan slamming into the car head-on. One or both cars spun out after the crash and struck a Ford F250 towing a horse trailer traveling behind the Subaru.
Hillsborough County, FL. – Two people were killed and one man injured after a multi-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in Hillsborough County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at 12:25 p.m. on June 27 on SR-39.
Troopers said a Subaru SUV tried to pass a car while travelling southbound and entered the path of a northbound Chrysler minivan slamming into the car head-on. One or both cars spun out after the crash and struck a Ford F250 towing a horse trailer traveling behind the Subaru.
The Subaru and Chrysler drivers were killed in the accident.
The Ford driver sustained minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
