Tucson, AZ. – A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Saturday morning in Tucson.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened at the intersection of East Broadway Blvd and North Campbell Avenue at around 2 a.m., according to the Tucson Police Department.
The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Broadway Boulevard when he ran a red light and was struck by a vehicle in the intersection.
The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved was not impaired.
More details about the crash were not disclosed.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the collision.
