Las Vegas, NV. – A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened on Flamingo Road at New Forest Drive at about 9:08 p.m.
A Toyota Highlander was traveling westbound on Flamingo Road when it struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was thrown into the road.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. The driver showed no signs of impairment.
