Picacho Peak, AZ. – A woman was killed after a traffic collision on Thursday evening in Picacho Peak, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. on June 25 on Interstate 10 near Picacho Peak Road.
Officials said a shuttle bus hit a sedan for reasons still under investigation.
The woman driving the sedan was declared dead at the crash site. Three shuttle bus passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries due to the collision.
All eastbound lanes were blocked and traffic redirected at or before Picacho Peak Road.
