Shiloh, IL. – A construction worker was killed after a traffic collision on Friday morning in Shiloh, according to the Shiloh Police.

The crash occurred a while after 10:45 a.m. on June 19, near the Air Mobility Drive and Maple Street intersection.

Police said a 55-year-old man of Swansea, a construction worker, was struck and killed by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.

The man was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Shiloh Police Department.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
