Peoria, IL. – Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision on Sunday evening in Peoria, according to the Peoria Police Department.
The accident happened at around 6:00 p.m. on June 21 at the Main Street and Heading Avenue intersection.

The two drivers sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital.
Police closed the intersection near Farmington Road. The roadway was reopened a while after 7:00 p.m.
