Troopers said a silver FHP towing a trailer was traveling in the lanes with a marked FHP following behind. The trailer was disabled by a flat fire.

Miami-Dade, FL. – Two FHP troopers were hurt after a traffic collision on Monday morning in Miami-Dade, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at about 10:40 a.m. on June 15 in the northbound lanes of the Turnpike near Northwest 106th Street.
Troopers said a silver FHP towing a trailer was traveling in the lanes with a marked FHP following behind. The trailer was disabled by a flat fire.
The two vehicles pulled over to the emergency shoulder before a black Cadillac SUV swerved off the roadway and collided with the Charger, which hit a trooper standing near the trailer.
At least two people were hurt in the accident.
One trooper was sitting inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The vehicles sustained significant damages following the collision.
An investigation is underway.
