Sarasota, FL. – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic collision that killed a man from Sarasota on Sunday morning in Sarasota.

The accident occurred at about 3:05 a.m. on June 15 on northbound I-75 near mile marker 212, just south of Exit 213.

Troopers said a 2006 Toyota Sequoia was traveling north when it traveled off the roadway to the right and rolled over. The driver was thrown off the car following the collision.

The motorist, a 36-year-old man of Sarasota was declared dead at the crash site.

All northbound lanes were opened after the collision.
