Okaloosa County, FL. – A 60-year-old man was killed and two others severely hurt after a head-on collision on Wednesday afternoon in Okaloosa County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 2:45 p.m. on June 3, on State Road 285.

Troopers said a gray Chevy Trax was heading north on State Road 285 when it crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a southbound Land Rover LR4.

The Chevy driver, a 60-year-old man, was killed in the collision.

The Land rover occupants, a 40-year-old Fort Walton Beach man, and an 11-year-old Fort Walton Beach boy, sustained severe injuries due to the crash.
