Deputies said a 52-year-old woman of Lake Worth Beach, was heading westbound on Lantana Road when she tried to turn left onto an access road. The woman then turned directly into the path of an oncoming BMW, which hit the passenger side of her vehicle.
Lantana, FL. – One person was killed after a deadly collision on Sunday morning in Lantana, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred at about 11:05 a.m. on May 24, in the 3100 block of Lantana Road.
Deputies said a 52-year-old woman of Lake Worth Beach, was heading westbound on Lantana Road when she tried to turn left onto an access road. The woman then turned directly into the path of an oncoming BMW, which hit the passenger side of her vehicle. The crash impact sent both vehicles off the roadway and into a grassy area.
The woman was declared dead at the crash site.
The two BMW occupants sustained minor injuries after the accident.
