Chicago, IL. – A pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run collision on Saturday morning on Chicago’s South Side, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred a while after 3:00 a.m. on the outbound Dan Ryan Expressway and 95th Street.
Police said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons. The involved driver fled the scene after the crash.
The pedestrian’s current condition was not immediately released.
Police closed the 95th street off ramp from the outbound Interstate 94 to give way to an on-scene investigation.
