Orlando, FL. – A 13-year-old boy was killed after an e-scooter accident on Sunday in the Lake Nona area.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on May 10 on Moss Park Road near Savannah Pines Drive.
Troopers said the boy was riding an e-scooter when he was hit by a pickup truck for unknown reasons.
The boy was rushed to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The involved driver stayed at the crash site after the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
