New Haven, IN. – One person was killed in a head-on crash on Friday morning in New Haven.
According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened in the 15000 block of Old U.S. 24 at around 5:30 a.m.
A vehicle was eastbound on Old US 24 when it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a pick truck traveling westbound.
The driver of the eastbound car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
It was not immediately clear whether speed or impairment was a factor.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
