According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash happened at Lamb Boulevard and Tonopah Avenue at around 8:30 p.m.
A vehicle was traveling on Lamb Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian walking outside a marked crosswalk.
Medics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
