The pickup truck swerved off the roadway and into a retention ditch off the eastbound shoulder, crashed into a driveway culvert, landed into a ditch and rolled over.
Madison County, FL. – A 67-year-old Greenville woman was killed after a traffic collision on Tuesday afternoon in Madison County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 1:30 p.m. on April 28 on Northeast Highway County Road 150.
Troopers said the woman was driving a pickup truck in the area when she did not maintain a single lane of travel and crossed over the center line and over the eastbound lane of Northeast Highway County Road 150.
The pickup truck swerved off the roadway and into a retention ditch off the eastbound shoulder, crashed into a driveway culvert, landed into a ditch and rolled over.
The truck then came to a halt facing west on the eastbound shoulder of the highway.
The woman was killed in the crash.
The Madison County MES and Fire Rescue, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Madison County Road Department assisted the FHP at the scene.
