According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident occurred at around 2:45 a.m. on Interstate 11 near Tropicana Avenue.
A pickup truck and a motorcycle collided in the area in unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
