Mesa, AZ. – Two people were transported to the hospital after a multi-car accident on Wednesday in Mesa, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident happened at about noon on April 22, at Higley Road and Southern Avenue.
Deputies said three vehicles including a private ambulance were involved in the accident. One of the cars overturned onto its roof.
Two people, including an individual in their 80s, were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
It was not immediately known if the patients were in the ambulance or in the other cars.
No additional information concerning this crash was released.
An investigation is underway.
