Troopers said a Buick Envision was preparing to turn left from the northbound lanes of U.S. 2 onto Denison-Chattaroy Road while a Subaru Legacy was heading from the southbound lanes of U.S. 2. At the same time, a Subaru Ascent on Denison-Chattaroy Road was halted at the U.S. 2 stop sign.

Spokane County, WA. – Six people were hospitalized after a multi-car accident on Tuesday afternoon in Spokane County, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
The accident happened at about 11:57 a.m. on April 14 on northbound U.S. 2 and Denison-Chattaroy Road.
Troopers said a Buick Envision was preparing to turn left from the northbound lanes of U.S. 2 onto Denison-Chattaroy Road while a Subaru Legacy was heading from the southbound lanes of U.S. 2. At the same time, a Subaru Ascent on Denison-Chattaroy Road was halted at the U.S. 2 stop sign.
The Buick made a left turn and crashed into the Subaru Legacy and sent it to hit the stopped Subaru Ascent.
The Buick driver, a 77-year-old man from Valley, was hurt and taken to an area hospital.
The Subaru Legacy driver, a 20-year-old driver and all their four passengers, including a five-month child and two teenagers were all taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The Subaru Ascent driver, a 35-year-old woman of Deer Park, was not hurt in the crash.
Further details regarding this crash were not provided.
