Las Vegas, NV. – A man was killed in a crash on Saturday morning in Las Vegas.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened in the 4400 block of West Charleston Boulevard at South Decatur Boulevard at around 10:59 a.m.

A man reportedly stole a running black Hyundai Sonata from the parking lot and drove off at a high rate of speed before crashing into the back of a minivan. The minivan spun out.

Hyundai continued northbound, where it struck a large rock and a light pole.

A passenger in the Hyundai was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The minivan driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

A passenger in the van was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
