Tacoma, WA. – An Ohio man was killed in a rollover crash early Sunday morning in Tacoma, according to the WSP.

The fatal collision occurred around 3:40 a.m. on February 15, at the intersection of State Route 16 and Sixth Avenue.

WSP said a 21-year-old Georgia man was driving westbound on SR 16 when he changed lanes for unknown reasons and crashed into the freeway barrier.

The vehicle rolled over and came to a stop on its side.

One of the passengers, a 20-year-old Ohio man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other two passengers, a 22-year-old Illinois man, and a 21-year-old Georgia man, were unhurt but were taken to St. Joseph Medical Center for treatment.

The driver was taken to MultiCare Allenmore Hospital for treatment. He was later booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of vehicular homicide.

WSP is investigating the accident.
