The Jeep Wrangler driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

Markleville, IN. – A 56-year-old woman died in a head-on collision on Thursday morning in Markleville.
According to the Madison County Sheriff Department, the accident happened on State Road 109 at County Road 200 East at around 6:30 a.m.
An 18-year-old was driving a 2019 Chevy Silverado pickup truck northbound on SR 109 when he drifted into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a 2006 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 56-year-old woman.
The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
The 18-year-old sustained injuries in the crash. He was later arrested on DUI charges.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
