Hobe Sound, FL. – A driver was flown to the hospital after a violent collision on Tuesday morning in Hobe Sound.
According to the Martin County Fire Rescue, the accident occurred a while before 8:00 a.m. on January 7th.

One of the drivers was pinned inside their vehicle and the roof was cut, and hydraulic tools were used to dislodge the dashboard. After extrication, the driver was flown to the hospital for treatment of severe injuries. One child sustained minor injuries and was treated.
An investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol is underway.
