Fire officials responded and found a tractor-trailer overturned on its side and two pickup trucks.
Fort Lauderdale, FL. – Six people were injured following a traffic collision involving a tractor-trailer on Tuesday afternoon in Fort Lauderdale, according to the Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue.
The accident happened on eastbound State Road 84 east of Interstate 95 on January 6th.
Fire officials responded and found a tractor-trailer overturned on its side and two pickup trucks.
Six people sustained minor injuries including four who were transported to area hospitals.
A portion of State Road 84 was closed in the area.
Crews worked to mitigate a diesel fuel spill from the tractor-trailer and delays were experienced in the area to give way to a clearing operation.
An investigation is ongoing.
