Sacaton, AZ. – A rider was killed in a motorcycle accident near Sacaton on Sunday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The fatal accident happened around 6:00 a.m. on January 4 on Interstate 10.
Troopers said a motorcycle rear-ended a stake-bed truck in the eastbound lanes.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle onto the freeway and was struck by another vehicle.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident closed the eastbound lanes of the freeway near the Casa Blanca Road exit.
DPS is investigating the accident.
