Police said a red Honda was travelling eastbound when it ran a red light and crashed into another car.

Chicago, IL. – Seven people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle accident early Thursday morning on Chicago’s Near North Side.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the accident occurred at around 3:48 a.m. on January 1st.
Police said a red Honda was travelling eastbound when it ran a red light and crashed into another car.
Three Honda occupants, two 21-year-old men and a 20-year-old woman were transported to Northwestern Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the second car, a 38-year-old man was also transported to Northwestern.
Three passengers from that car, two men, 23, and 30 and a 29-year-old woman were transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital. All the patients were in a stable condition.
No one was cited.
An investigation is underway.
