Phoenix, AZ. – A pedestrian died after being struck by an impaired driver on Friday night in northwest Phoenix, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 11:00 p.m. on Northern Avenue near 36th Avenue.
Police said a man was crossing the street and was struck by a vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was processed for DUI.
Police are investigating the accident.
