Yakima, WA. – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Yakima early Saturday morning, according to the police.
The collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. on December 27 at the intersection of West Nob Hill Boulevard and South 3rd Avenue.
Police said a Yakima police officer was responding to a home invasion call and was traveling westbound on Nob Hill with their lights and siren activated.
The officer failed to negotiate properly at the intersection and crashed into another vehicle.
The officer was unhurt in the accident.
The other driver was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
