The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead
Kent, WA. – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Friday evening in Kent, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened just after 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of 108th Avenue SE and SE 224th Street.
Police said a 46-year-old woman was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when she was struck by a southbound SUV.
The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The SUV driver, a 55-year-old woman, stayed at the scene after the accident and cooperated with the police.
Speed and intoxication were not factors in the accident.
Police are investigating the accident.
