Champaign County, IL. – A pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run accident early Saturday morning in Champaign County, according to the Champaign County Coroner’s Office.
The crash happened on December 20 at Green Street and Mathews Avenue.
Authorities said a pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian, a 22-year-old Urbana resident, was transported to Carle Foundation Hospital where they were declared dead on Saturday at 9:44 a.m.
