Police said a semi-truck and a passenger car crashed in unclear circumstances.

Chicago, IL. – One person was injured following a semi-truck crash on Monday afternoon near Lansing in Chicago’s south suburbs.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident happened at about 3:15 p.m. December 22, on eastbound Interstate 80/94, just west of Torrance Avenue.
Police said a semi-truck and a passenger car crashed in unclear circumstances.
The truck was loaded with 40, 000 pounds of beer but it was not immediately known if any beer spilled onto the expressway.
One person was injured in the collision.
The truck sustained significant damage to its trailer following the collision.
All lanes were opened as of 5:00 p.m.
Traffic delays were experienced in the area after the crash as crews removed the truck from the expressway.
An investigation is underway.
